Soaply ("we," "us," "our") is a soap and cosmetics calculator tool operated by Caruso Business Solutions LLC, based in Milledgeville, Georgia. Our website is located at www.soaply.net.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

Email address
Name (if provided)
Password (stored securely using bcrypt hashing)

Usage Data

When you use Soaply, we store:

Saved recipes and recipe versions
Supply inventory data
Batch logs
Custom oil profiles
Recipes you share to the Community Recipe Library

Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full card details on our servers. Stripe handles all payment data under their own Privacy Policy. We receive and store only a Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

Analytics Data

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. This collects anonymized data such as pages visited, session duration, device type, and approximate location (country/region level). Google Analytics uses cookies (see Cookie Policy below).

To provide and maintain your account and saved data
To process subscription payments

Your data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon (US region). Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal data (available in your account settings)
Delete your account and all associated data (available in account settings)
Export your recipes (PDF export available for Pro users)
Withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
