π Instructions
- 1Combine all dry ingredients (baking soda, citric acid, cornstarch, fillers) in a large mixing bowl
- 2In a small container, mix your oils, fragrance oil, polysorbate 80 (if using), and colorant
- 3SLOWLY drizzle the wet mixture into the dry while whisking constantly to avoid premature fizzing
- 4Lightly spray witch hazel and mix until the mixture holds together when squeezed (like wet sand)
- 5Firmly pack the mixture into molds, pressing both halves together for spherical molds
- 6Let dry undisturbed for 24-48 hours in a low-humidity environment
- 7Gently remove from molds and store in airtight containers
